00:00:00:18 - 00:00:00:24 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry So 00:00:00:28 - 00:00:08:28 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry you got a Christmas party coming up. And no one ever talks about the minute by minute. How do you actually take all of these elements 00:00:09:00 - 00:00:19:09 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry and ideas and put them in an order and a flow that actually works? I'm talking about it. Welcome, everybody, to the hybrid ministry show. 00:00:19:11 - 00:00:21:29 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry What's going on, everybody? Welcome to the Hybrid Ministry show. 00:00:21:29 - 00:00:44:23 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry And today we are talking about your Christmas party and link down below. Over the last several episodes, including today is a four part mega guide that I have created over on my Patreon. It's completely free, but you might have to click join again for free and you'll get access to part one, which is ten games, part two, which is Christmas gift ideas for your volunteers. 00:00:44:24 - 00:01:08:16 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry Part three theme ideas. But part four, we're going to take all those puzzle pieces. And let's be honest, in my mega guide, I've given you more than you could possibly need, and I am going to walk now through the step by step flow of the night. This is actually a bit of an adaptation. Myself and my friend Erik with the K, we did a mashup collaboration episode 2 or 3 years ago. 00:01:08:18 - 00:01:28:15 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry And we gave this exact resource away. And so once again, this is also included and linked in my mega guide. So go grab it. But what you're going to do is work through this run sheet, this program step by step kind of run sheet. And I'm going to go through it here in this video. But you can use the other elements parts, pieces, decor, graphics, leader gift guides, all those things. 00:01:28:15 - 00:01:49:10 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry You can grab all those things off my Mega guide and kind of put them into your own order, move pieces and parts around. And so with that, any further ado? Pre-Service man, you gotta have a Christmas movie. Or Christmas music playlist going maybe a hot chocolate bar so that students can get those things going. And another like fun idea that that Erik talked about was, 00:01:49:13 - 00:02:09:04 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry Listen, here's the reality. Like, you might not think that you need to do anything with social media. You might not even consider it that important. But here's the good news. Your students, they do. And they live in that world. Like, we just had some students create a bar stool of our student ministry account. It's like a satire account. 00:02:09:04 - 00:02:26:28 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry It's like a it's like a spam account, but it gets incredible traction. And they have incredibly creative ideas. And so my seasonal social media pack is not done by Gen Z or Gen Alpha, right? But it is done with them in mind. And I will help coach you how to start creating a structure and a framework of content. 00:02:26:29 - 00:02:49:07 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry Maybe you're not the content creator. That's fine. Hand it over to a student and watch what they can do when you let their creativity be unleashed. And so I will keep you consistent. I'll keep you when. When things get difficult. When your schedule gets busy, my pack will just keep things, moving for you. Okay? And then you hand it over to a student and you see what they can do. 00:02:49:10 - 00:03:11:20 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry Go check it out. It's less than the cost of a cup of coffee per month. Actually, if you get the Patreon Hybrid Hero membership to your $4 per month, you get access to all of my social media packs and we are releasing the one for fall. So go check out the fall seasonal social media pack. Even though in this video looks very much like I'm right in the middle of summer. 00:03:11:23 - 00:03:16:03 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry Trust me, it's just Texas. Okay, go check it out and back to the rest of the video. 00:03:16:06 - 00:03:34:08 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry And another like fun idea that that Erik talked about was old school Christmas movies just playing on the screen. And you can have them on low or even mute if they're like, you know, the claymation type stuff. Everyone's kind of knowing them and seeing them so you can have your music going, but then you just got the movie on in the background. 00:03:34:09 - 00:03:58:15 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry It's just a great way to like, set the vibe. He then starts out with some hosts giving some things away. Lean into your theme. If you have a theme, you're using one of my themes. Maybe play one of the games here, or just do some genErik random fun door prizes. You can play a couple of different games, and then you compare that with if you want to do a white elephant gift exchange. 00:03:58:17 - 00:04:22:26 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry One of my theme ideas once again in the Mega Christmas Guide is a gingerbread decorating game paired with a white elephant gift exchange. And kind of my my pro tip or my hack. We did this when we did it back in the summer on National give something away days. Just make sure that you have enough, like extra white elephant things in case kids didn't catch the memo. 00:04:22:26 - 00:04:43:23 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry So you can have volunteers bring some things in, bring in some extra wrapping paper, or. Fun fact we went to all the and bought 15 Aldi brown bags so that kids could just stick an item in Aldi brown bag because they're like, do I really have to wrap it? Like not just throw it in this grocery bag? And it kind of took care of it and then, give a message. 00:04:43:23 - 00:04:47:12 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry And Erik actually included in this guide. So you're going to want to go grab it. 00:04:47:19 - 00:05:07:28 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry The message that he uses for all of his, like invite or outreach style nights, it's a really good message. It's a it's a salvation. It's a gospel centric message. So go grab it. It'll give you kind of like that outline. You can use it, adapt it, tweak it to your format, make it fit into like whatever theme that you're going to be doing. 00:05:08:00 - 00:05:28:05 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry And then he also created a and gave you a prompt to use like response card. So let students kind of work through and listen to what you have to say in your message and respond to it, and then finally end with maybe one more game. Again, I've given you ten of my mega guide and then a wrap up, maybe a giveaway, a grand prize done by your host. 00:05:28:06 - 00:05:32:08 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry And so all of these things games, leader gift ideas, 00:05:32:14 - 00:06:08:12 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry themes, and this program run sheet all included in my Mega Christmas guide. And guys, it's not even November when this episode drops. I'm wearing this like sweater and it's 100 degrees outside this window. Like we're early. We got you. You are covered. Go spam that mega Christmas guide and have the absolute best time with your students and your volunteers, celebrating the birth of Jesus and letting them know that you love, care, and want to shepherd them into a more developing and growing relationship with Jesus. 00:06:08:12 - 00:06:15:03 Nick Clason | Hybrid Ministry Because that's what this is all about. Merry Christmas everyone, and don't ever forget to stay hybrid.
